Special Screening
Thursday March 25th
7:00pm at Paramount Theater
Ticket Price $10
The 8th Annual Garden State Film Festival is proud to partner with the National Lyme Disease Association to present a special benefit screening of the award-wining film "Under Our Skin" A Question & Answer session following the film will shed light on the meaningful issues raised, and a portion of the proceeds generated will go to the Lyme Disease Association.
About the film:
A gripping tale of microbes, medicine & money, "Under Our Skin" exposes the hidden story of Lyme disease- one of the most controversial and fastest growing epidemics of our time. Each year, thousands go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, often told that symptoms are "all in their head." Following the stories of patients and physicians fighting for their lives and livelihoods, the film brings into focus a haunting picture of the health care system and a medical establishment all too willing to put profits ahead of patients.
