Mind Prints collection
Frank Meo
Frank Meo has created an exhilarating collection, MIND PRINTS, of indelible mental flash cards that reflect the strength of the mind.
The show will be presented in the Arcade of Convention Hall. Opening night March 25th.
When Bill told Hillary. Van Gogh with a knife. Ron Goldman fighting with OJ Simpson. Hitler in the Bunker.
The non-stop media analysis of events has nurtured the visual information area of the brain so that each person is capable of digesting information and creating visual memories of events. The fact is, no one has ever seen any of these events. They only exist in the imagination.
Meo passionately feels that merely by seeing words on a page one can have a powerful visual experience through the strength of your mind. Using American Typewriter font Meo shows the audience the utmost respect by allowing each person to create their own mental image.
Meo’s fascination with the human condition and the power of the media has fueled his passion to understand it all. Out of respect to the common man Meo’s says, “STOP” to Richard Prince’s self-serving and condescending act of commandeering art and calling it his own.
Ted Kennedy on the Chappaquiddick Bridge. Unabomber Theodore Kaczinki in the Post Office. Pete Rose with his Bookie.
Guests are invited to purchase prints, his new show accompanying book and meet Meo.
